Hyper Tria received a request to redesign the visual identity of the General Secretariat of Public Diplomacy of the Greek government. I had the opportunity to participate in the multiple proposals that were made, but sadly for me, my proposal was not chosen in the end.

After receiving George's brief (structured “serious” logo, strong and minimalist elements), I started by thinking about a movement for identity, before looking for visuals. To convey the idea of information sharing, from one person to many, I imagined the movement of several elements starting from the same point. I used very basic shapes: circles, rectangles to meet the demand for minimalist elements.

This base being solid, I deepened it by testing other simple elements, again on After Effects (AE) before moving on to Illustrator to continue this search for visual elements.

Although I did not have to deal with the text, I found a font corresponding to the expectations to be able to put my elements in interaction. I then went back to AE to animate the new elements I obtained.

Satisfied with this track, I look for another one to have at least 2 proposals.
From the idea of the message, I retain the visual of the comic book speech bubble. I try to simplify this already minimal representation by keeping only part of the bubble. I go back and forth on AE to link an animation to this idea.

I present these two tracks to Georges who recommends that I start again with the first thought-out visuals. After following his advice, I make mockups so that Eleni, who will also make proposals, can see what I've done and where I'm at.
